Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

Tamora Pierce!: I love the books by this woman. I read The Immortals series first, then went back and read The Lioness and then later I read Protector of the Small. I have to say the Immortals is my favorite, just because it has my favorite plot, and because I wish I had Daine's powers. I loved the idea of being able to shape shift and talk to animals, I will not lie. Her characters are just so interesting.

HSM (of course): Oh god. HSM is sort of my secret guilty indulgence. My cousin got me into it, actually. I was a big Broadway geek and when my cousin wanted to see Hairspray I agreed, having seen it on Broadway a month earlier. She was all excited about Zac Efron and I was like, "Who?". And she explained it to me and forced me to watch HSM. I found it entertaining and I was like, "Oh, that's where that breaking free song comes from". Then I saw HSM2 and totally fell in love with Chad/Ryan.

Jump rope. (XD;; ): ACTUALLY I am a big jump roper. Especially chinese jump rope, I love that shit. I am very handy with a jump rope, I used to do 500 in a row daily for excersise. I can also do criss crosses and backwards.

New York: My home <3 I was born here, grew up in Noho and then moved to Soho when I was 12. I love NYC, I would not move for the world. I want to go to college here too, I couldn't bear to leave. I actually cannot really sleep anywhere that isn't New York, because if it isn't as noisy as the city it really weirds me out. Also, the subway system here has spoiled me for life. I cannot do bus/train schedules/tickets. I am so used to swiping my metrocard and having a train come whenever it comes.

Hair: HAIR! This is pretty much my favorite musical. I saw it September of 2007 when I found out that Jonathan Groff (who I had a huge crush on at the time) was going to star in it. I waited in line from 7-1 on Saturday and did not get tickets. The next day I went back at 6 and got the final two tickets (I also failed the math test I had monday morning). Me and my dad saw it, and I had absolutely NO idea what it was about. My dad was all "you probably know some songs, Easy to be Hard, Good Morning Starshine, and Let The Sunshin In".  It was nothing like what I had expected. I walked out so so so touched and moved and I fell in love with it. I won't even watch the movie because I think it does NO justice to the stage show. When it came to Central Park in the summer, I saw it four more times. Waiting in the line from 4:30 am to 1 pm with my friends was such a great time. I miss those days. I am so excited to see how going to an actual theater affects the show, and to see Caissie Levy and Gavin Creel as Sheila and Claude. This show is my show, and I adore it so so much.

let the sun shine in...

You are the ____ to my _____.

Do it anonymously and let me guess! Or not, whichever, but guessing is fun.

Meme Time

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!

These were chosen for me by the lovely Mandee.

Groff holding a rose in his teeth. This was made by bellasmommy from the Spring Awakening Valentines Day video. It makes me laugh because Groff trying to be all sexy romantic does not work with a rose between his teeth.

This was from a photo we took at the They Might Be Giants concert which I saw with my dad, but I met up with Lauren and Michelle afterwards. That's Michelle's coat in the back of the giant foam hand, which she gave to me. We were standing outside and they were both pointing one way with their foam hands but I accidentally pointed the wrong way...oops. Fun times.

This was made by chimericaal from a photo on facebook. I picked it because, um, Dashoff is my OTP and I remember the day Lex and Lauren told me about it when I met them after the show, and we saw them walking down the street so close to each other and they all rushed after them and left me standing there to talk to Groff, who totally noticed them.

Haha I made this one from a photo I found on facebook when going through Matt's photos. It made me laugh because that boy makes ridiculous facial expressions, because I love Matty, and because he posted the comment "Good Lord!" on the photo. I also needed an icon to show anger, but it also cheers me up when I'm angry.

This is Phoebe as Ilse, taken from the 2/10 SA video boot. I actually thought it was Lauren at first, which was stupid because their hairstyles are so different, but I kept it because Phoebe is awesome too. This was also my default for the longest time.

Union Square

For some reason, Union Square is not a well known place D: Everyone thinks I mean Times Square. So, to share the NYC experience with you, here's a photo I took at the beginning of the summer from the second floor of a restaurant of the middle of Union Square.

I am aware it's probably a terrible photo- but I tried! I hope it gives everyone a sense of what NYC is like. <3

This miss of a life...

I was flipping through my Teen Vogue, and I saw the cutest hot pink bag from Marc Jacobs. I really want to buy it, but it's like 1k, and my parents said no. Even though I have enough cash on hand to get it...but I doubt I'd want to spend so much of my money on a bag. I'd rather get my parents to buy it XD But it won't happen -sigh- I can dream though!

Instead I want one of those 300$ Coach Bags. I can totally get that, if I beg enough.

As for clothes- I want one of those like, trench coat style coats? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If you do- the black or white ones? I'm not sure which is better...

And I can't find a hot pair of jeans -_- They either won't fit over my ass but make my legs look nice, or they fit over my ass and make them look baggy. It is very irking.

Hats...I need a cute hat.

And shirts...and dresses.

Here is the icon. I'm sorry it isn't so good D:

I feel so horrible ;_; I got ANOTHER COLD but this one is a million bajillion times worse. My throat hurts,I can barely breathe, and my parents are being jerks.

And I can't enjoy Thanksgiving dinner because I can barely swallow. I'm just like, tearing up right now. When I get sick, I get hyper emotional. So the slightest thing sets me off. I just feel so hopeless right now. Ugh- I want to just go into my room and play Pokemon Yellow on my Gameboy Color, since my other one is missing.

I want to also go to Barnes and Nobles and buy disney coloring books, because I want to learn to draw the SA cast members in Disney style. Because I'm so lame.

Also, does anyone have the backstage SA tour? I forgot where I saw it.

And here are things I am thankful for.

1) Sa_Slash has been so brightening, because it just makes me laugh every time I go on. Everyone in it is just too amazing.

2) Lauren, because she is win <3

3) Disney, for making me believe I am a princess (and a mermaid).

4) Sarah, just because. I can't even put it into words <3

5) Spring Awakening, because I just can't say how much I fell into love with this show. Though most of you on my flist probably love the show as much as I do. <3 It just cheers me up so much when I am severely angry to listen to 'The Bitch Of Living' or 'And Then There Were None'. It makes me realize that I have it better than some 19th century German boys and girls.

6) Death Note. It's squeeful.

Stolen from Alexa <3 Love you :o

Oh god. I've gotten 20 hours of sleep in the past week. And I'm not likely to get much tonight. Why? Because of the play. And I know- doing the play was my choice, and I have no one to blame but myself. But I feel like complaining anyways- I am aware that it's my fault for prioritizing acting over working and sleeping.

So because of dress rehearsals, I didn't get home till about 9:30 each night. And then I ate dinner and dinner get started on work till about 10 each night. The thing is- I have a bedtime of 11. So I had to do most of my work under my sheets with a flashlight, and I fell asleep sometimes, so I had uncompleted assignments, which meant I had double the work the next day.

Also, I have 3 essays due tomorrow. THREE! Which means I won't get any sleep. Also, I have two tests tomorrow, which I need to study for. So I've done about 2/3 of my essays and it's 10:30 at night. I need to conclude my last one, then write another 800 word essay, study for my math test, which I will fail, and my chemistry quiz, which I'll probably do pretty well on. Then, I'm blowing off lunch to do my chemistry lab due last Friday, as well as a worksheet due last Friday, and slipping it into my teacher's mailbox since we have a sub tomorrow, and she won't know any better.

Then I'll pretty much have caught up! Except for one French assignment. Maybe if I have time I'll do that during lunch too.

Wish me luck everyone!

Also- The play performances went really well. And we're studying Othello in English, so I basically don't have to do anything. Shakespeare is a breeze for me, I don't even have to read it and can get all the questions right in class tomorrow.
